Imaging tomorrow's energy

Polarcus is an innovative marine geophysical company with a pioneering environmental agenda, delivering high-end towed streamer data acquisition and imaging services from Pole to Pole. We offer contract marine seismic acquisition services and data imaging to the global E&P industry behind our modern fleet of high performance 3D seismic vessels. Our seismic fleet is the youngest, cleanest, and most uniform within the industry, and incorporates leading-edge maritime technologies for improved safety, efficiency and environmental protection. All our vessels have highly advanced seismic processing capabilities onboard powered by DUG Insight.

Geophysical Solutions

We have an in-house team of highly experienced geophysicists supported by data processing experts from our partners, DownUnder GeoSolutions. Our team has extensive experience in modern marine geophysical methods and techniques, survey design, geophysical QC, and data processing. Led and mentored by our Chief Geophysicist, the core of our geophysical support community is co-located with our centralized marine operations group in Dubai, with Area Geophysicists based in our regional marketing and sales offices around the world.

This integrated network enables our geophysical community to work closely with our clients to design appropriate geophysical solutions for the client’s projects, however challenging the geology. Several members of our geophysical community are well known in the industry and have authored papers and / or presented at global and regional conferences.

Marine Acquisition

We are operating an ultra-modern seismic fleet incorporating advanced maritime and environmental features including an innovative inverted bow hull design, and capable of operating in the most challenging of conditions. We offer a full range of services from classic 3D/4D seismic, wide and multi-azimuth projects to Arctic frontier operations.
Our fleet structure has been optimized to meet the industry's current and future needs, including the latest operational techniques such as wide and multi-azimuth seismic. Our fleet is also well positioned for any industry expansion into new frontier regions such as the Arctic and environmentally sensitive sea areas that demand the latest in both maritime and seismic technology and environmental safeguards.
