Polarcus Limited (OAX: PLCS) announced today that after a successful mobilization the seismic vessel POLARCUS ASIMA has now entered into production on her first project in the Russian sector of the Black Sea. The contract is the previously announced 2,069 square kilometer 3D seismic acquisition project that the Polarcus / JSC Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG) partnership entered into with Rosneft. The survey is being acquired with a 12 streamer seismic array, each streamer being 6,000 meters long and with 100 meters separation between streamers.
