Capital Markets Day 2012: Making the Right Choices

Polarcus Limited (OSE: PLCS) is pleased to announce that the Company is today holding a Capital Markets Day in Ulsteinvik, Norway. Following the event the participants will be attending a naming ceremony of the Company’s eighth and newest 3D seismic vessel, POLARCUS ADIRA.

Commenting on the event, Rolf Rønningen, CEO Polarcus, said: “With the delivery today of our eighth high-end 3D seismic vessel Polarcus will have the youngest and most uniform 3D seismic fleet in the industry, with a market share of 12%. The consequent economies of scale and the ability to optimize fleet utilization will help ensure our global competiveness and improve operational margins going forward.”

He continued “Our primary objective now is to deliver and delever. To deliver superior fleet performance through highly efficient operations and geophysical excellence, and to delever through the steady reduction of our gross debt profile over the next 5 years. We believe that the strategic decisions we have made over the past 4 years; in vessel design, in fleet size and composition, and in our recruitment of high caliber people, are the right choices for the Company and will enable us going forward to serve our market and client needs efficiently and effectively.”
